Just in time for the ongoing Pride Month, the LadyLand Festival, a vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ music, is all set to make a comeback in New York City. During the recent evening of April 16, the lineup unveiled two prominent Latina headliners, Tokischa and Arca.

Scheduled for June 28 and 29 this year, Ladyland Festival 2024 will span across two exciting days. The festival will illuminate the talents of LGBTQ+ community members in the realms of artistry, creativity, and performance. Taking the stage on the first day will be the renowned German pop artist, Kim Petras. She made history last year by being the first transgender woman to clinch the Grammy for Pop Duo/Group Performance with her track “Unholy,” featuring Sam Smith. Leading the Latina representation for that day is Kandy Muse, a distinguished Dominican-American drag persona recognized for her participation in RuPaul’s Drag Race. Additionally, the lineup includes Horsegiirl, Slayyyter, Aliyah’s Interlude, Baby Tate, DJ Guapis, Jon Ali, and Countess Luann from The Real Housewives of New York City.

On Saturday, June 29, the Venezuelan DJ and producer, Arca, will co-headline the event alongside the sensational Dominican star, Tokischa. Arca, a non-binary and trans figure, is trailblazing for the LGBTQ+ community within the EDM genre. Tokischa, who identifies as bisexual, is acclaimed for popularizing the Dominican dembow style worldwide. This day’s performances will also include a showcase by Venezuelan vocalist MJ Nebreda. Among the non-Latin performers are Bob the Drag Queen, the titleholder of RuPaul’s Drag Race season eight, and Sevdaliza, who will showcase their DJ talents. Adding to the mix, the Dominican-American DJ Sterling Juan Diaz is poised to keep the rhythms pulsing. Cakes Da Killa, Derrick Carter, and Doss Lucky Love will also have their moments on stage.

Taking place beneath the iconic K Bridge in Brooklyn, NY, the LadyLand Festival’s official website is currently welcoming pre-sale registrations until 9 a.m. EST on Thursday, April 18, after which pre-sale tickets will be available from 10 a.m. EST on the same day. Tickets for the general public will then go on sale at 10 a.m. EST on Friday, April 19. This lively celebration seamlessly ties in with LGBTQ+ Pride weekend activities in New York City.
