Netflix has unveiled the first sneak peek and images of Ayrton Senna, the compelling limited series inspired by the extraordinary life of the famous Formula 1 racer. Starring Gabriel Leone in the primary role, this show comprises six episodes and will portray Senna’s journey through triumphs, challenges, joy, and sorrow, offering insights into his personality and relationships.
The story kicks off with Senna’s entry into the world of Formula 1 as he moves to England to take part in the races, tracing his path until the tragic event that led to his demise at Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix on May 1st, 1994.
The teaser provides glimpses of Senna preparing for a race, wrapping his fists, adjusting his headgear, and capturing the intense spotlight on him, showcased through numerous cameras fixated on the driver. The sequences then shift to Senna initiating the race, interspersed with flashbacks of his childhood dreams of becoming a champion.

The footage also captures Senna alongside Xuxa (Pâmela Tomé), involved in a clash with rival driver Alain Prost (Matt Mella), and the unforgettable moment where Senna declared, “I won’t back down from the battle,” highlighting his enduring legacy that has led to a limited series many years later.
As Senna crosses the finish line in triumph, Galvão Bueno’s distinctive voiceover fills the air, marking the race portrayed in the teaser as Senna’s initial victory in his hometown of São Paulo during the 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos.
Senna is set to premiere in late 2024. The talented cast includes Alice Wegmann, Camila Márdila, Christian Malheiros, Gabriel Louchard, Hugo Bonemer, Julia Foti, Marco Ricca, Susana Ribeiro, and Kaya Scodelario, among others.
