Karol G is wrapping up her year on a positive note. On December 13, the talented Colombian artist dropped “QUE CHIMBA DE VIDA,” a trap track infused with Mexican music elements to celebrate life’s memorable moments.

Last track of the year… 2023 has taught me more than any other year that all I have lived through, seen, and experienced over the years allows me to say today QUE CHIMBA DE VIDA [WHAT A FANTASTIC LIFE]! With all the ups and downs. T H A N K S! link in Bio,” Karol wrote on her Instagram.
The new music video showcases the defining moments of Karol’s 2023. Featured clips include highlights from her Mañana Será Bonito Tour, the filming of “S91” videos, and media features showcasing her accomplishments. The video also shows the Colombian artist performing the verses of her new song, working out, and receiving special recognition. It also includes segments of her appearance on Saturday Night Live, her encounter with Rihanna, a collaboration with Alicia Keys, and her remarkable joint effort “TQG” with Shakira. Throughout the video, she also includes her family and features a section with her rumored partner, Feid.
In conclusion, she expressed her gratitude to her fans. “I want to express my deep appreciation to all of you for accompanying me this year, for being part of so much joy and the realization of so many dreams… None of this would have been possible without you!”
She continued: “I wish everyone the best, and if this year didn’t turn out as we had hoped, we will collectively manifest a bright future for the next year and beyond, filled with the realization of dreams and ambitions. I love you all, and thank you for everything!!!!”
The surprise song was announced to her fans through her Telegram chat on Tuesday (Dec. 12). She urged her supporters to prepare their best videos and photos of the year to go along with the new song. Additionally, the “TUSA” songstress revealed her European tour dates this week, adding new stops in Amsterdam, Berlin, and London in 2024.
