The highly sought-after position of Spotify’s Most-Streamed Artist Worldwide is no longer occupied by Bad Bunny. Spotify’s yearly Wrapped data, unveiled on Nov. 29, revealed the overthrow of the Puerto Rican sensation after three consecutive years as the leading streaming artist.
The latest data reveals that Taylor Swift has now risen to the position of the Most-Streamed Artist Worldwide. However, the top five most-streamed artists globally on Spotify consist of two Latin performers. Bad Bunny, who clinched the No. 1 position for three consecutive years (2020-2022), now holds the second spot. The eagerly anticipated list also highlights The Weeknd at No. 3, Drake at No. 4, and Peso Pluma making an entrance at No. 5. Other Latin artists in the global top 10 comprise Feid (No. 6) and Karol G (No. 9).

It’s worth noting that “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” by Bizarrap and Shakira secured the ninth position. “Ella Baila Sola” also reached the fourth position in the U.S. Most-Streamed Songs list, while “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2” by Ice Spice and PinkPantheress took the fifth position.
Additionally, the U.S. Most-Streamed Artists this year feature Bad Bunny at the fifth spot and Peso Pluma at No. 10. The top 10 U.S. Most-Streamed Albums chart also highlights the same Latin artists: Bad Bunny at No. 7 with “Un Verano Sin Ti” and Peso Pluma at No. 9 with “GÉNESIS.”
