Could there be a potential collaboration brewing between Pepe Aguilar and Christian Nodal? Just yesterday, Nodal and his new familial connection shared a performance of the classic song “Por Mujeres Como Tú”.
A month prior, Nodal officially became part of the esteemed clan in Mexican melodies, the Aguilars. More than a month after confirming his love with Ángela Aguilar, the duo tied the knot in a cozy ceremony at a ranch in Morelos, Mexico. Their inaugural appearance as a married pair graced the stage in Mazatlán, Sinaloa last Saturday, where Nodal and Ángela exchanged a tender kiss during a concert.
Nodal is progressively integrating into the Aguilar family circle. On August 7, Pepe Aguilar, the family patriarch, commemorated his 56th birthday. He posted numerous videos on his Instagram, capturing the celebrations alongside Nodal. A heartwarming moment unfolded when Ángela, her brother Leonardo Aguilar, and Nodal surprised Pepe with a rendition of “Las Mañanitas”.
In another piece, Pepe showcased his strong bond with his son-in-law. The video showcased Nodal fervently singing with his father-in-law to the 1998 hit “Por Mujeres Como Tú”. Viewers showered the performance with admiration in the comments. A Spanish comment read, “Don Pepe, you should record this duet. It’s one of my cherished songs.” Another commendation remarked, “The blend of those two voices is truly exquisite.”
The positive reception might stir Pepe’s inclination to release a fresh rendition of “Por Mujeres Como Tú” featuring Nodal in the foreseeable future. Previously this year, Pepe introduced his latest album “Que Llueva Tequila,” infusing rock nuances into Mexican traditions in tracks like “Hasta Que Me Duermo.” Following her blossoming love with Nodal, Ángela unveiled the track “Gotitas Saladas,” which she co-crafted with one of his past collaborators.
