Shakira has announced the postponement of the U.S. segments of her highly anticipated Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. On October 18, the Colombian superstar revealed that the North American leg will now commence in 2025, following her tour in Latin America. She is expected to unveil the new U.S. dates on Monday, October 21. Originally, the tour was slated to begin at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, on November 2.
In a press release, Shakira stated that the North American segment will not start this November. She mentioned that this tour has already become the “biggest” endeavor of her career, noting that the intense demand has prompted the shift from arenas to stadiums. She also plans to announce more dates. “The production of my show is now significantly larger and is unlike anything I’ve done previously. Therefore, we’re upgrading my North American performances from arenas to stadiums, with dates moving to May 2025, immediately following my Latin American tour. Keep an eye out—cities and dates will be revealed on Monday!” she conveyed via social media.
Shakira concluded her message by expressing gratitude to her fans for their support, understanding, and love, stating that it means everything to her and motivates her to keep pushing boundaries. “I’ll be eagerly waiting for all of you. I promise to make it worth the wait and deliver the best performance of my life,” she assured.
Ticketmaster has announced that refunds for the canceled U.S. dates will be processed within 14 to 21 days. With this recent update, Shakira is now poised to kick off her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour at the Estádio Nilton Santos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on February 11, 2025.
Additionally, Shakira unveiled her most recent music video for “Soltera” last week and has received three nominations for the upcoming Latin Grammys next month.
