Romance is Blind: Mexico recently premiered its marriage episode, raising questions about which couple took the plunge and said, “I do.” In an unexpected twist, only one couple actually tied the knot!
Karen and Fernando were the only couple from Romance Is Blind: Mexico to get married in this inaugural season, solidifying their love and commitment to one another. Fernando even presented Karen’s daughter, Emi, with a bracelet and promised to look after both of them.
What transpired with the other couples?
Despite having five couples heading into the finale, the others faced challenges. To begin with, Fernanda and Gerardo did not make it to the altar. Just before the pre-wedding festivities—talk about bad timing!—Gerardo admitted that he wasn’t ready for marriage, resulting in their split shortly after the celebrations.
The other couples also exchanged vows, but this did not guarantee a happy conclusion.
First, René and Irais reached the altar, but René ultimately stepped back and declined to proceed. However, they opted to keep dating, which has sparked discussions about their current relationship status. Next up were Chema and Silvia, who declared their love yet chose to elope without confirming their commitment. Technically still a couple, they did not marry.
Finally, Francesca and Willy came to the realization that they were incompatible on their wedding day. They expressed gratitude for the lessons shared and decided to part ways.
As a result, Karen and Fernando stand out as the only couple from Romance is Blind: Mexico season. For them, love may truly be blind.
