Peso Pluma has announced the cancellation of his upcoming performances in Florida. In a gesture of compassion for those affected by the recent hurricanes, the Mexican artist shared today (Oct. 11) that he will also contribute to local relief initiatives.

In July, Peso Pluma launched his Éxodo Tour, even after suffering a foot injury just weeks prior. Following surgery for the injury incurred at the Governors Ball Music Festival, he managed to complete the tour’s first leg on crutches but has since made a full recovery and is back to delivering energetic performances. His next concert is set for tonight at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. The tour’s concluding shows were originally scheduled for Oct. 16 in Tampa, FL, and Oct. 17 in Miami, FL. However, due to the recent impacts of hurricanes Helene and Milton on the state, he has opted to cancel these dates.

“Due to the natural disasters affecting the communities of Florida, Peso Pluma has announced today that he will cancel his Tampa and Miami Éxodo Tour shows to stand in solidarity with those affected by the recent hurricanes that impacted the state,” a statement from Peso Pluma’s publicist said this afternoon.

It was also revealed that Peso has made contributions to local hurricane relief organizations. His record label, Double P Records, along with the management firm Prajin Parlay Inc., have also provided financial support. “Our entire family at Double P Records/Prajin Parlay Inc. prays for everyone affected to have a speedy recovery,” the statement further elaborated.

Fans who purchased tickets for Peso Pluma’s Tampa and Miami performances through Ticketmaster will receive automatic refunds. There has not been any announcement regarding the rescheduling of these events.

With the cancellation of these performances, Peso Pluma’s final show of the Éxodo Tour will now take place on Oct. 13 at the First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, NC. He is also scheduled to appear at Billboard Latin Music Week in Miami, FL, from Oct. 14 to 18.
