In a fresh musical venture, Karol G is set to make her mark in the world of classical music. The announcement was made today (July 12) by the acclaimed Italian artist Andrea Bocelli regarding his forthcoming album, Duets. This highly-anticipated project will feature partnerships with top Latin artists such as La Bichota, Xtina, Jennifer Lopez, and many more.

Throughout his impressive tenure in the music scene, Bocelli has played a pivotal role in popularizing classical and opera music, particularly in Latin America. Since the release of his debut album, Il Mare Calmo Della Sera, in 1994, Bocelli has achieved success with chart-toppers in both English and Spanish. To commemorate his 30th year in the music industry, Duets is slated for release on Oct. 25, showcasing a diverse array of musical talents from around the world.

Sharing his enthusiasm, Bocelli expressed, “The fusion of voices, the intertwining of vibrations, is a deeply enriching experience for me, both physically and spiritually. The bond that emerges when two voices harmonize in a duet is profound and intimate. As vocalists, we continuously seek out partners who can create this enchanting synergy.”

A pleasant surprise in the Duets album is the inclusion of Karol G. The Colombian star will collaborate with Bocelli on the track “Vivo Por Ella,” a Spanish version of the song “Vivo Por Lei.” In 1997, Bocelli first collaborated on “Vivo Por Ella” with Spanish singer Marta Sánchez, featured in his album Romanza and serving as the theme song for the popular Mexican soap opera of the same name starring Victoria Ruffo and Saúl Lisazo.

Among the talented Latin artists partaking in the Duets project are Aguilera, collaborating with Bocelli on “Somos Novios,” and Lopez on “Quizás, Quizás, Quizás.” Originally, the collaboration between Aguilera and Bocelli was featured on his Amore album in 2006. Additionally, JLo and Bocelli teamed up in 2013 for a track on his Passione album. Noteworthy fresh collaborations in the collection include Marc Anthony on “La Voce del Silenzio” and Sofia Carson on “Moon River.” Alongside these, the Duets album will also include joint efforts with Shania Twain, Céline Dion, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Laura Pausini, and more.

Heading into his tour in 2024, Bocelli will include a stop in the U.S. on Dec. 4 at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, CA. The tour will encompass visits to Las Vegas, NV; Los Angeles, CA; New York, NY; and Miami, FL during the month.
