Luis Miguel is generously giving back to Mexico. The Governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo, recently revealed that the Mexican icon will be giving a performance without any fees at the Feria Nacional Potosina 2024 (FENAPO 2024) in the Teatro del Pueblo in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, on August 20. The extensive festival is set to run from August 9 to September 1.
In a social media update, the national festival announced, “The Sun of Mexico Arrives at #ElForoFNP 🩷 LUIS MIGUEL! 🌟 FREE at The Foro Teatro del Pueblo 🎤 of the Feria Nacional Potosina 2024. From August 8 to September 1… Come and Join Us Here! 🎡 FNP 2🩷24 • #Fenapo #Fenapo2024 #FNP2024.”
Gallardo, using Facebook Live, disclosed the singer’s involvement. Addressing his audience in Spanish, he mentioned, “As promised, we will reveal the special guest artist of FENAPO 2024. The artist – who recently visited Spain – and after overcoming some initial obstacles, we have now secured the confirmation… Let’s see if you can guess who it is.” He proceeded to introduce LuisMi’s appearance by playing his hit song, “Ahora Te Puedes Marchar,” on the radio. Moreover, he extended a welcome to nearby towns to come and attend this complimentary event in San Luis Potosí.

During the live stream, the Governor also teased that the official schedule for FENAPO 2024 would be revealed within the next day or two. He highlighted other anticipated performers, such as Maluma and Black Eyes Peas. The festival’s official social media platforms have also announced appearances by artists like Edén Muñoz, Junior H, and Gloria Trevi.
