The inception of the Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful Tour headlined by Karol G occurred in August last year at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, NV. Throughout the United States, she consistently drew large crowds to stadiums. The remarkable success at the box office resulted in Billboard honoring Karol G by crowning her as the highest-grossing Latin touring artist in 2023. Furthermore, she clinched the 11th spot on a prestigious list that featured artists spanning diverse genres such as Beyoncé, Coldplay, and Harry Styles.
Currently, Karol G is making her way through the Latin American leg of the Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful Tour. The shows held at the Estadio Nacional in San José, Costa Rica on March 9 and 10 were completely sold out. The collective ticket sales for both evenings reached 104,686, setting a record for the highest number of tickets sold for a single concert in the nation, surpassing the previous record set by Coldplay in 2022.
The Mexican segment of the Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful Tour began in Mexico City last month, with Karol G making history by becoming the first female artist to fill the Estadio Azteca for three consecutive nights. The upcoming performance on March 15 will take place at Estadio OlÃmpico Félix Sánchez in the Dominican Republic. Later in the summer, Karol G’s global tour will expand to Europe, where in July she will make history by being the first artist to sell out four shows at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, Spain.
In the previous month, Karol G marked the one-year anniversary of her Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful album. She achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first female artist with an all-Spanish album to remain on the Billboard 200 chart for a consecutive period of one year, totaling 52 weeks. This surpasses the previous record held by Gloria Estefan’s Mi Tierra album, which spent 46 weeks on the same chart.
