Pedro Pascal’s journey to stardom and popularity on the web has been extraordinary. The Chilean-born actor embarked on his cinematic voyage way back in 1996 with the movie “Burning Bridges.” However, it was his portrayal of Oberyn Martell in “Game of Thrones” that truly propelled his career in the eyes of fans.

Afterwards, he landed the leading roles in both “Narcos” and “The Mandalorian,” solidifying his position in the industry. Following these triumphs, he has been linked to projects such as “Wonder Woman 1984,” “The Book of Boba Fett,” and “The Last of Us.” With such high-profile projects in his pipeline, where does “The Mandalorian” fit in?

There have been reports suggesting that Pascal might leave “The Mandalorian” to make room for other pursuits.

Considering his extraordinary talent and the impressive momentum he has gathered over the years, it is hardly surprising that Pascal has a busy schedule of ongoing or post-production projects. Besides his speculated involvement in “Fantastic Four,” he has eight upcoming projects listed on his official IMDB page.

Therefore, it wouldn’t be surprising if he opted to distance himself from “The Mandalorian.”

An Inside the Magic report discusses how after the third season of the show, there was uncertainty among fans about the possibility of another season. Season three brought about a shift from Pascal’s character being the sole protagonist and expanded on the storylines of other characters.

The publicationIt has been noted that the House of Mouse has not yet released any official updates regarding his possible departure from the series. Speculation arises that Although Pascal was rumored to return for another “succession of episodes,” there are many who believe that season four could potentially mark his final portrayal of Din Djarin.

This development may not come as a surprise to fans of the Star Wars franchise, as Pascal has confirmed that he no longer embodies the character physically. Presently, he is solely engaged in providing voiceover work for the show.

In a Drama Actor’s Roundtable with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor admitted that he mainly focuses on the voiceover aspect of the show. As per Collider, two other individuals are responsible for physically portraying Din Djarin. Brendan Wayne manages the regular scenes, while Lateef Crowder handles the stunts.

Whether he decides to depart from “The Mandalorian” or not, it will not mark the end of Pascal’s involvement. Pascal’s incessant schedule has made him a highly sought-after talent, with speculations swirling about his potential portrayal of Reed Richards in Marvel’s “Fantastic Four.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, Pascal may also be in contention for this long-awaited franchise reboot amidst his packed schedule.

The publication suggests that it all depends on his availability. His two most immediate commitments include the second season of “The Last of Us” and Ridley Scott’s highly anticipated sequel to “Gladiator”.

However, “Fantastic Four” is not the only film Pascal is linked to — a remake of “Scarface” is also in progress.Giant Freakin Robot reported that there are rumors about the participation of the Chilean performer in an updated version of the 1986 film.

According to sources within the publication, the storyline is said to be moving from Miami to Los Angeles. Allegedly, Pascal is set to depict a Mexican immigrant who ascends the hierarchy in organized crime. This revamp is expected to breathe fresh life into the story.

The original “Scarface” from the ’80s showcased Al Pacino in the role of a Cuban immigrant, while the 1932 version had Paul Muni playing an Italian gangster. If the speculations are accurate, Pascal would be the third artist to undertake this character and the first of Hispanic descent.
