The shooting for the upcoming season of the NBC comedic show Lopez vs Lopez has started. Brice Gonzalez, the youngest actor in the cast, who plays the role of George Lopez’s grandson on the sitcom, has posted pictures on Instagram from the set, accompanied by a heartfelt homage to his late father, Randy, who succumbed to colon cancer nearly a year ago at the age of 35.
“Once again we find ourselves here, DAD,” reads the note. “I am grateful for everything you have taught me and for sharing the best of yourself with us.”
Gonzalez also expressed appreciation to his mother for “Providing stability for us” and thanked his sisters, Aubree and Lauren, for “being outstanding older siblings and putting up with me.” He concluded the message by acknowledging the fans for their love and support. “Returning with even more energy and determination!”
In two of the three new photos he shared, he is seen in his dressing room wearing a white sleeveless top, dark denim, and monochrome sneakers. In another photo, he is pictured outside the studio with a prominent Lopez vs Lopez logo displayed above the building. Additionally, he posted a group picture featuring himself, his father, and his sisters.
Before joining Lopez vs Lopez and the 2023 film Flamin’ Hot, Brice and Randy gained popularity as the Enkyboys on TikTok. The amusing videos from this father-son duo have amassed millions of views. Currently, their TikTok account has a following of 16 million fans.
Lopez vs Lopez was renewed for a second season in May after the Writers Guild of America strike began. Initially, the order for Season 2 was for 13 episodes, but it has now been reduced to 10. The first season contained 22 episodes.
