Bad Bunny has officially confirmed that his next album is on the way. After much speculation, the music artist hinted at the upcoming release by tweeting out a numbered list with the word “Fuego” repeated 22 times, just as he did before his previous album, Un Verano Sin Ti.
This confirmation comes after rumors about the album began circulating following Bad Bunny’s Vanity Fair cover story, which indicated that the interview is related to his forthcoming album. While he and his team didn’t confirm this during the discussion, Bad Bunny denied the news on his WhatsApp Channel, stating that he never mentioned a release this year in the interview.
Nevertheless, Bad Bunny recently released the song “UN PREVIEW,” which he hinted as a preview of what’s to come in the next year. However, he also mentioned that this might be his last song for this year. It seems that these were just tactics to mislead his fans, as his recent tweet gives a major clue about the new album.
Based on his previous album release strategy, where he also tweeted the number of songs on a Sunday and dropped the album just a few days later that same week, it’s possible that we might be getting a new album from Bad Bunny this week. Alternatively, he might choose to release it later this month when he hosts and performs on Saturday Night Live on October 21.
In addition to the tracklist preview, Bad Bunny also took the opportunity to thank his loyal fans. In a tweet on Saturday, he expressed his gratitude and love for those who have supported him throughout the years.
